Mr. Pruett, a native of Western North Carolina, focuses his practice on commercial real estate law, representing developers, landlords, title insurance companies, homebuilders, lenders and individual property owners on a range of mixed-use, planned development, apartment complex purchases, solar farm development, retail development and retail leasing matters in both North and South Carolina. Prior to joining St. Amand & Efird, Mr. Pruett gained over 7 years of experience practicing in a wide array of real estate matters including residential, commercial, raw-land acquisition, mixed-use development, complex commercial title issues, and association management. Mr. Pruett has searched and certified title as an approved attorney for most of the major national title insurance companies, and specifically focuses on certifying title for complex commercial properties. Prior to attending Law School, Mr. Pruett spent nearly 5 years as a High School English Teacher.
